Jannicke Nilsson is the Executive Vice President for Safety, Security, and Sustainability at Equinor. She joined Equinor in 1999 and has held several leadership positions within operations, projects, and technology. In her current position, which she assumed on 1 June 2021, Jannicke has led the corporate function that is responsible for shaping and safeguarding Equinor's safety, security, and sustainability work, including Equinor’s energy transition plan. Prior to this position, she served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for five years. As COO, she led Equinor's digital transformation and delivered tangible results on the company's strategy.
